Scribner Achieves Perfect House Voting Record
HARTFORD — State Rep. David Scribner this year continued his exemplary record of service to constituents by registering a 100 percent House voting record during the 2010 legislative session. Scribner, a fiscally-conservative Republican representing Brookfield and Bethel, made 271 votes on the floor of the state’s House of Representatives. Just 41 of 151 House legislators notched that accomplishment. He is one of only a handful of state legislators who have maintained a perfect record for more than a decade. “I’ve never lost sight of why I’m here—to be the voice of people in the towns I represent,” said Scribner, ranking member of the legislature’s Transportation Committee. “That responsibility is something I take seriously. Without thoughtful and aggressive representation, a community’s voice can be lost quickly inside the Capitol.” Scribner also serves on the legislature’s Public Health and Finance, Revenue & Bonding committees.
